Registration

  • Make a mini canoe using adaptable, easy techniques. All materials (birch bark, sinew, plastic needles) are provided so you can take a floating canoe home with you.

  • Experiment with masking fluid to attain unusual creative effects with water colour paint on paper. An efffective and useful addition to your arts toolkit.

  • Create unique pendants using copper and silver plated wire. Learn how to add texture and accent with glass and gemstone beads. With Tanya McCormick
  • Using a silicon transfer mat, acrylic paint and texture tools to pull prints and create truly original stickers and prints.

  • Decorate a durable canvas place-mat (or set of coasters) for your cottage dinner table using acrylic paint, stamps and ink and collage papers.

The NBMA has partnered with local Pontiac artists from the Get Art outreach program to offer workshops for adults and youth in our community. All courses will be offered at Centennial Hall on Thursdays from 4:30-6:30 p.m. All ages are welcome. However, children under 10 should be accompanied by an adult. The minimum enrollment is 8 participants to a maximum of 10.  Courses below 8 participants may be cancelled.   Please register early to avoid disappointment!
